Eashing house update

Here’s an update on progress at Eashing House from our site visit last month.

The idea was to up-cycle a 1960’s country house by re-imagining the facades and opening up the internal layout. We wanted to give a greater impression of connection with the countryside and improve the thermal performance.

The reflective elements have taken shape and are starting to be clad. It was nice to see the metal taking the colour of the trees and sky.

The glazing and sliding doors are in, which along with the new open plan layout and end to end corridor/gallery are going to give greatly improved vistas within and out of the house.

It’s due for completion over the next couple of months.
